VENUE, ACCOMMODATIONS & NOTE OF INFORMATION

The Ioste meeting will be held in Yasmin Hammamet (South Hammamet), Tunisia,
from Wednesday 07 to Saturday 10 February 2007, and our Tunisian Team Host
Committee is enthusiastically preparing for it.

BEFORE COMING

1/ Complete the registration form "your quick guide to registering".
- Registration kit includes hotel booking requests, eventually the accompanying persons, hotel
reservation, registration fees & hotel payment.
2/ Complete the transportation form and precise if you expect a ride from or to the airport
from the official hotels or to "Meeting Centre".
3/ Verify if you need VISA for Tunisia
Citizens of some countries require a visa to enter Tunisia. Detailed information is provided in
the visa documents that can be downloaded from the web site.
4/ Verify your passport validity
For certain countries a passport is not obligatory to enter Tunisia.
5/ Verify your currency
Only EUROS will be accepted for payment of registration fees upon arrival at the meeting.
Please be advised that buying EUROS in Tunisia is not possible. Participants are therefore
requested to buy EUROS before entering/landing in Tunisia.

Tunisia Location: Northern Africa, bordering the Mediterranean Sea, between Algeria and Libya
Yasmin Hammamet is about 70kms or a one-hour drive from 2 international airports.
GETTING TO HAMMAMET
The Host Committee will welcome Conference participants upon arrival at the international
airport Tunis Carthage, or Monastir airport, and provide the transfer to the Conference hotels
(transportation form). But you can easily get to Hammamet by local Tunisian transport.

South of the Cap Bon peninsula, 10 km south-west of Nabeul, 64km south of Tunis by motorway, 85 km north
of Sousse by motorway. Railway station: routes to Tunis and Sousse.

- When we will know the precise time of your arrival, we will organize some collective transport by
little bus or car.
- In other cases, the best solution is the taxi-Louage-taxi from Airport to the
Yasmine Hotel in Hammamet. In all cases, the price will be from 10 to 18 Euro by person. We'll send
you more precise information when we will know the time of your arrival.

MEETING LOCATE IN A "CONFERENCE CENTRE"
Most of the meeting activities will be in the Medina Mediterranea. It is a new, old-style,
village that opened in 2003 in the touristic area of Yasmine Hammamet, a one-hour drive
from Tunis. It is a living reminder of the old Tunisian and Mediterranean heritage and life; a
trip into the past to see how cities and life once were. Tucked into the alley-ways of shops and
plaza's with outdoor cafes is a modern Conference Centre for our plenary meetings. Near-by
are other facilities for lunches, exhibits, ceremonies and out-of-door social activities.

Hotels near the Medina have been selected for our meeting. There are a good number of
rooms available in every category, and the rates obtained by the Host Committee are
attractive.
NOTE: please do not book these selected hotels via the internet. You will not receive the
special meeting prices. Please book your hotel on the official Conference registration form.
But if you find a best price or accommodation, you can do your reservation, but please
inform the Tunisian Team Host Committee.

Note 1: For those who wish to share room in order to cut cost, refer to the official registration
form. Please indicate your preference so that it can be matched as much as possible with other
requests. However, final decision will have to be made by individual participants concerned.
Note 2: Personal or family Suites are also available, except in the Green Golf (price on
request from the Host Committee).

GOING TO AND FROM THE CONFERENCE CENTRE
Transport will not be provided routinely from the hotels as they are closer to the
Conference Centre (but it can be arranged on request.) A shuttle bus will be arranged from the
Hotel Iberostar Belisaire for those who need it.
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS' PROGRAMME
The Host Committee is organizing a special programme during the Conference for persons
accompanying. The programme will give the participants the opportunity to know about
Tunisian culture, history and traditions.
MORE TOURISM & POST CONFERENCE TOURS
In addition, the Host Committee will propose an interesting tourist programmes for post
conference tours.
