Associate Discount

I. OVERVIEW

Chico's FAS, Inc. provides our associates and eligible family members a discount off merchandise
purchased in all Chico's FAS, Inc. Boutiques (Chico's, White House|Black Market and Soma) as well as
merchandise purchased via Chico's FAS websites.
The Boston Proper Associate Discount is only offered to Associates located at the Fort Myers National
Store Support Center (NSSC) campus and Boston Proper Associates.
II. POLICY
A. ELIGIBILITY

This benefit is effective immediately upon hire for regular part-time or full-time associates to include
interns. Field Associates should refer to the Stores Operations Manual for applicable Associate
Discount guidelines.

Associates based at NSSC including the Winder Distribution Center and Field Management receive:  Chico's Stores - 40% off regular price or 10% off sale price (whichever is lower)  White House | Black Market - 40% off regular price or 10% off sale price (whichever is lower)  Soma - 40% off regular price or 10% off sale price (whichever is lower)  Outlets - 10% off the lowest ticketed outlet price or 40% off the original price (whichever is For 2012, Associates located at the Fort Myers NSSC campus only also receive:  Boston Proper - 25% off all Boston Proper regular price and clearance items. To ensure that our customers are not impacted, all NSSC associates are required to use the website for Boston Proper orders. Associates should not call the Boston Proper Contact Center to place orders. All Boston Proper Associate purchases are required to be shipped directly to the Fort Myers NSSC campus. SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

In order to ensure that the correct Associate discount is applied, all Associate purchases must be rung
through the register as an Associate sale. Only members of management may ring an Associate
purchase or return. No one, including management, may ring their own purchase or return.
We offer various discounts to our customers, including the 5% loyalty discount, coupons, outreach
parties and Point of Sale (POS) promotions. These discounts are offered for promotional, marketing
and outreach purposes and therefore are not extended to our Associates. Additionally, the Associate
Discount may not be used to purchase Gift Cards.
The Associate Discount is for the personal use of our Associates and their immediate family. Immediate
family members are defined as children, parents including parents-in-law, spouse, domestic partner (as
defined by applicable laws or Company guidelines), brothers, sisters and any other dependents who
live in their home. All purchases must be paid for at the time of receipt of the products. Misuse of our
generous merchandise discount may result in corrective action, up to and including termination of
employment.
Our Associates know our products and sizes. In the rare instances where a return is necessary, the
return needs to be made within 30 days and must be accompanied by the original receipt. Items
purchased using the Chico's FAS, Inc. Associate discount must not be resold.
All eligible Associates and interns will be issued an Associate Discount Card within 30 days of hire.
Before this time, we ask that associates present identification when shopping in the stores. With the
exception of spouses, the Associate needs to be present at the time of purchase to be eligible for the
discount. The spouse must present the Associate's Discount Card at time of store purchase. Please
contact the Benefits Department for all lost cards.
Shopping in our stores is a great opportunity to witness our store Associates demonstrating the
customer service that sets us apart from other retailers. Upon arrival at our Boutiques and Outlet
stores, introduce yourself to the sales Associate. And as a fellow Associate, please understand that the
store Associates' priority is our Customers. Be sensitive to their needs and be patient during busier
periods when there may be a wait at the fitting room or register - our Associates may not be available to
immediately assist other Associates because they are delivering the Most Amazing Personal Service to
our customers!
ONLINE SHOPPING SPECIFIC GUIDELINES
Before shopping online for the first time, Associates must register their Associate ID; and will be required to acknowledge our Associate Discount policy. This will allow proper discounting to be applied when shopping online. Following are the Associate registration websites:  Newly hired Associates may register their Associate ID number two days following their official  After Associates register their Associate ID, they will be recognized as an Associate via the email address established and used to access their account. Associates will not be asked to enter their Associate ID each time they shop online. Once registration is complete, Associates may begin shopping at the brand's customer website. There is no need to revisit the registration sites to shop. Associates receive FREE parcel post shipping for online orders at Chico's, White House/Black Market and Soma. Associates must use their personal credit card for online purchases. Another person's credit card; including spouse and family members, may not be used. Credit card usage will be monitored via the XBR system at the National Store Support Center (NSSC). Associates may not share their online username and/or password with others. Online purchase activity will be monitored to ensure discount integrity and compliance.
